Summary
Experimental monthly estimates of paid employees and their pay from HM Revenue and Customs’ (HMRC) Pay As You Earn (PAYE) Real Time Information (RTI) data, including a flash estimate of employment and median pay for the most recent month. This is a joint release between HMRC and the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
We have changed the publication time of this release from 9.30am to 7.00am. This is in response to the developing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the UK and is to ensure fair and equal access to our market sensitive statistics.

As the demand increases for statistics and data to measure the impact of the COVID19 pandemic, we have had to change data gathering and release practices, focusing efforts on priority analysis and statistics.
