Summary

In response to user demand, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has undertaken a feasibility study to provide initial recommendations on how the UK sharing economy could be measured by official statistics. This report summarises work undertaken by ONS so far and considers the use of a survey, administrative data and big data to collect information on the sharing economy.
